MBABANE – About 300 homesteads in Mgcomeni, Ngculwini will now have access to clean water.
This has been made possible by the help of an organisation called Together We Can, which has installed a borehole worth E100 000.
Speaking to Eswatini TV, Director for Together We Can, Kareem Mahmud stated that the organisation is committed to helping every individual in the country despite their ethnicity and religion.
Residents of the area also stated how the challenge of having access to water has been there for a long time and how often they had to wait in long queues to get water.
Member of Parliament (MP) of the Mafutseni Inkhundla, Sabelo Mtsetfwa highlighted that as a council they are also working towards providing emaSwati with clean water.
“A lot of people in these community do not have access to clean water, we will continue asking for more assistance in building more boreholes for the community”, Mtsetfwa said.
Together We Can is an international organisation that specialises in installing water to communities that have inadequate water in the country.
