MBABANE – The 13th edition of the KwaMagogo, Golden Foot Legacy Race will be held this coming Saturday (August 10, 2024), starting at 6:30am at the Trelawney Park, Manzini.
The running race will feature two events, being the 21km and 10km. There are lot of prizes to be won by runners in both events. The even is set to attract over 500 as it has been the case is past editions.
This historic race and walk continues to capture the youth and keep families together in the celebration of the past. This year’s race will be under the theme ‘Buthongo Commemoration,’ according to the number43trelawneypark.org/magogo-run-walk.
Meanwhile, the event will also serve as physical or manual registration for the Imbube Marathon to be held on October 6, 2024. Runners who would like to register for the Imbube Marathon during the KwaMagogo race must bring their identity cards (ID) for verification and the cash (registration fee).
Imbube Marathon is now in the mid-registration period after the closer of early registration on July 26. Runners now pay E315 for the 42.2km, E285 for the 21.1km and E260 for the 10km.
Registration for the 6th edition of the Imbube Marathon is online on www.imbubemarathon.com, but then they can use the manual registration during the KwaMagogo run/ walk on Saturday.
The late registration that will start on August 24 will have an increase of E100 for all the three events.
