MBABANE – The ‘Angisati ngitsini’ tour will make its way to Ehawini Lifestyle in Ngculwini on Saturday (August 3, 2024), bringing with it a night of laughter and entertainment.
Event organiser Mxolisi Masina, famously known as DJ Easy, confirmed this during an interview with the publication. He said, “We are planning a tour that will take place nationally, including Hhohho, Manzini, Lubombo, and the Shiselweni region. We started the tour at the Siteki Hotel, and on August 3, we are at Ehawini Lifestyle,” he said.
Bongiswa Masondo, a local comedian, highlighted that the primary goal of the tour was to reach out to their fans who lived in more remote areas and could not afford to attend their shows at more upscale venues.
“We are bringing our services closer to people as we push for the big show that we want to host at the end of the year,” he said. He further highlighted the purpose behind the national tour, stating that they are doing this tour to spread their brand and unique style of comedy and music throughout the country.
The tour is set to showcase the exceptional talent of the most popular local comedians namely, Bongiswa and Darren, who are known for their sharp wit and humour. The talented DJs, including DJ Easy, Tykoon, DJ Lusta, Piano Discipline, and Extra Kid, will also be joining the line-up to provide an unforgettable musical experience.
Masina said they are still looking for additional venues to host the tour and expand their reach even further. He emphasised that their goal is to cover as much ground as possible and introduce their brand of comedy and music to new audiences across the country.
As part of their national tour, they will be making a stop at Ekhayeni Chillaz on August 31, 2024.
Tickets will be sold for E30 before 8pm and E50 after 8pm at the gate.
