EZULWINI – Ndoniyamanzi shows gratitude to HRH Princess Temtsimba’s Kwakitsi Foundation.

Following her recent success in the Dance World Cup international competition in Prague last month, Ndoniyamanzi Luhlanga (11), in an expression of deep gratitude, accompanied by her parents, on Friday embarked on a tour to personally thank all the benefactors who facilitated her participation in the prestigious competition and to proudly display her well-deserved medal.

Her Royal Highness (HRH) Princess Temtsimba’s Kwakitsi Foundation was a major benefactor in Luhlanga’s journey, playing a pivotal role in covering her accommodation expenses for the trip.

The Princess generously donated E12 000 (601 euros) to fund Luhlanga and her teacher Director of Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy, Velile Dube, who is also a choreographer for their seven-day stay in the Republic of Czechoslovakia.

With this vital support, it made it easier for Luhlanga to concentrate on her performance, which culminated in her winning the silver medal and representing Eswatini with pride on the global stage.

HRH Princess Temtsimba and the Kwakitsi Foundation have been ardent supporters of ballet and dance development in Eswatini. Since its inception, the Foundation has consistently supported the Kids in Motion Academy, providing essential financial aid for international dance competitions and events organised by the Academy. This enduring support has been critical to nurturing a thriving dance culture within the country.

The Kwakitsi Foundation’s mission to uplift the moral fabric of EmaSwati is reflected in its steadfast commitment to supporting sports and the arts. By encouraging and financially backing promising young talents like Luhlanga the Foundation is fostering a generation of individuals who can excel internationally and bring honour to Eswatini.

Ndoni’s remarkable journey and her recent triumph underscore the significant impact of the Kwakitsi Foundation’s contributions to the arts and sports in Eswatini. As Ndoni continues to shine and inspire young dancers across the nation, the unwavering support of organisations like the Kwakitsi Foundation remains invaluable in nurturing the country’s future stars.
