NEW VEHICLES BOOST HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN ESWATINI

MBABANE – The Ministry of Health has strengthened the country’s healthcare system with the distribution of nine new vehicles to various health facilities across the country.

Principal Secretary Khanyakwezwe Mabuza led the handover, stating that the vehicles will enhance administrative work, outreach activities, and emergency medical response.

The fleet includes two ambulances, four bakkies, and three sedans. One of the ambulances will be assigned to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) unit, which will also extend its services to KaZondwako Clinic.

Other beneficiaries include Pigg’s Peak and Mbabane Government Hospitals, Dvokolwako and Mkhuzweni Health Centres, as well as Public Health Units in Siteki, Nhlangano, and King Sobhuza II. Additional support will be provided to health facilities in Northern Hhohho.

Mabuza explained that the new vehicles will improve efficiency in delivering healthcare services, ensuring that medical professionals can reach communities in need and respond swiftly to emergencies.

This investment is part of government’s ongoing efforts to enhance public healthcare accessibility and strengthen service delivery across the country.
