LOZITHA – The 2025 National Open Year Prayer Service is currently taking place at the Mandvulo Grand Hall in Lozitha Royal Palace.
This spiritually significant event, centered around the theme from Jeremiah 29:7—urging the nation to seek its welfare and pray to the Lord on its behalf—has drawn attendees from across Eswatini.
Their Majesties are expected to join the service any minute from now, adding a profound sense of reverence and importance to the occasion. The service will feature inspiring sermons from leading representatives of the nation’s three major church mother bodies:
- Sipho Tembe from the League of African Churches
- Grace Masilela from the Eswatini Conference of Churches
- L. Mnisi from the Council of Swaziland Churches
Following the sermons, Rev. S. Simelane will deliver a thoughtful summary encapsulating the key messages shared during the service.
The event began with attendees arriving promptly at 10:00 AM and being seated by 11:00 AM to prepare for Their Majesties’ arrival. It serves as a moment of unity, reflection, and collective prayer, fostering national solidarity and a shared commitment to the nation’s prosperity.
As the service continues, it is expected to leave a spiritually uplifting impact on attendees, symbolizing the nation’s unwavering faith and hope for a brighter future in 2025.
