MBABANE – Professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini delivered an impressive performance in the E1.2 million-sponsored Platinum Ladies Open.
After three days on the course at the Blair Atholl Golf and Equestrian Estate – SLT, Dlamini concluded the tournament with a score of three under par. Competing against 86 players from around the globe, she successfully made the cut after the second round, which was held on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
The tournament, part of the Sunshine Ladies Tour, concluded on Friday. South Africa’s Kiera Floyd emerged victorious with a score of 15 under par, while Hayley Davis from England secured second place with a score of 14 under par. South Africa’s Casandra Alexander finished third with a score of 12 under par.
Next for the Lobamba-born player is the ABSA Ladies Invitation, scheduled to take place from March 27 to 29 at the Royal Johannesburg & Kensington. This E1.2 million-sponsored tournament will span three rounds. Dlamini has already registered to compete alongside over 100 professional golfers from various countries.
With only three tournaments remaining before the 2024/25 calendar concludes next month, the upcoming events include the ABSA Ladies Invitational, the Joburg Ladies Open at Modderfontein Golf Club from April 3 to 6, and the final tournament, the Investec SA Women’s Open, set to be held from April 10 to 13, 2025, at Erinvale Golf Club.
