If you are a fan of theatre play, you cannot miss out on this moving show is a reflection of Kakama’s life in the country.
“The play is a reflection on my life in Eswatini, the country I believe I chose before my birth. There is no other country I would be happier to call home. I was born in the early 80s; the firstborn son of a single mother of two fatherless children.
Both her sons were the product of her liasons with men of different nationalities. In raising us our mother performed a miracle,” Kakama said, as he explained the inspiration behind the play.
Kakama teamed up with Ngcebo in writing this theatrical andveture that is set to wow audiences across the country.
In addition, Kakama said the Monarchy was part of a series of projects he plans to embark on to show his most sincere appreciation for the love and humility he received while growing up in the country.
The play storyline revolves around conflict and the power of love.
“It’s about how in love we are compelled to perform miraculous feats and how in conflict we equally compelled to destroy. Emphasis on compelled. Animated by conflict MAN will create an enemy out of a brother, an enemy of the environment and an enemy of anything and everything.
It follows the life of an African heroine who rose to the challenge sacrificing herself for the survival of her people,” he added.
This colourful and highly entertaining production will delight children and adults alike.
Lastly, Kekama further appreciated the work put in by local actors and the whole crew in making sure that the show is a success.
