MBABANE – The case between Usuthu Liverpool, Magwanyana FC and Lubombo Regional Football Association (LRFA) Disciplinary Committee (DC) has been postponed to tomorrow (Friday, July 19, 2024) by High Court Judge Mumcy Dlamini.
The case was due for the High Court on Wednesday (July 17, 2024).
According to Usuthu Liverpool Chairman Johan Tsabedze, who happens to be the team’s representative in this case, the postponement of the case was communicated to them on Tuesday (July 16, 2024).
Usuthu Liverpool appeal to the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) appeal’s board for the LRFA DC ruling, which found Magwanyana FC guilty for assaulting match officials and was fined E5 000.
The appeals board approved Liverpool’s appeal and instructed the LRFA to give them three points and three goals. However, the LRFA delayed the process until the closure of the FIFA platform on June 30, 2024, marking the end of the 2023/24 season.
