13 EMASWATI JOIN E2 MILLION FNB ESWATINI GOLF CHALLENGE

MBABANE – There are 13 Emaswati golfers who have joined the FNB Eswatini Challenge billed for August 1-3, 2024 at Nkonyeni Lodge and Golf Estate.

They include the three active professional players under the Sunshine Tour being James Pennington, Mandla Dlamini Jnr and Brandon-Jude Rennie. The three days tournament is sponsored to the tune of E2 million.

The others are Oscar Dube, Raymond Mathonsi, Sanele Myeni, Thulane Mkhaliphi, Teddy Vilakati, Hanco Rudolph, Robert Shiba, Nicholus Vilakati, Jacobus Pienaar (a) and Nhlanhla Mtsetfwa.

The country will welcome over 120 professional golfers from all over the world. Some of the golfers will come from countries including England, United States, Greece, Australia, Uganda, Zambia, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Portugal among others.

According to the sunshinetour.com, the majority of golfers will come from neighbouring country, South Africa.

The tournament will be played at the Nkonyeni Residential Golf Estate that already features one world-class Championship Golf course, designed by Phil Jacobs, previously associated with the Gary Player Group. The Course was further constructed by Robert Richardson from (Tee to Green Projects).

The course meanders through the private game reserve, and provides old and young players with a unique experience at the 18th hole, offering a shot across the Usuthu River onto an island surrounded by magnificent rocks.
