MBABANE – Moving with the times!
One can now enjoy live radio while also streaming it on YouTube.
The Jam Sessions airs live on Eswatini Broadcasting Information Services (EBIS 2) every second Saturday of the month, from 2 p.m. to 40 p.m. and live on YouTube, viewing and streaming via Capital Groove.
The Afternoon Jam Sessions is hosted by two resident DJs, Katz born Khethumenzi Manana and TharoTheDJ born Mnqobi Nkwanyana.
The duo will play Deep and Soulful House TV. This was confirmed by one of the hosts, DJ Katz.
DJ Katz
DJ Katz and TharotheDJ, are both local deep house DJs and podcasters who have been pushing their own movements, namely Beats & Bass and Capital Groove, and have decided to form a union and dish out the special house genre live on radio and on YouTube channels for viewing and listening to the sessions anytime, even after the radio sessions.
When reached for comment, DJ Katz shared with this publication that they plan to make the sessions interesting by playing new, unreleased, and released music from local producers and around the world. He said, “We will also have guests on the show on selected sessions where we will conduct a mini interview before a live DJing session. The sessions will have track lists available for listeners to be directed to favourite songs they would have heard on the sessions and be able to also download.”

It’s worth mentioning that the track lists will be posted on the Beats & Bass social media page as well as the Capital Groove social page, both on Facebook and Instagram. Guests for the show will be selected by the hosts.
DJ Katz revealed that they would like to grow their audience and also aim to attract sponsorships or companies that would like to advertise on their channel.
Listeners are urged to follow @Beats&Bass Movement (Facebook and Instagram), Capital Groove (Facebook and Instagram), and Capital Groove TV on YouTube to be able to follow up on what’s happening, tracklists, gig guides, and other news.
