MBABANE – The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) expressed their heartfelt condolences on the passing-on of former National team, Sihlangu player Sibusiso ‘Boy Boy’ Nyembe.
The former Moneni Pirates and Hellenic FC, who was also affectionately referred to as ‘Boy Boy Best,’ passed-on last week. EFA, through a statement sent by the Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe said they learnt with great shock about the untimely demise of Nyembe.
“EFA would like to comprehend her solemn and heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, Moneni Pirates FC, Hellenic F.C. friends, the general football family and affected establishments for his passing-on.
As a football federation we still cannot comprehend the passing-on of Nyembe as he was a great footballer during his playing days as he played the sport diligently; as a consequence, he played up to the national team level. His passing-on is a gigantic loss to football as he was a motivation to the current and upcoming players by being one of the most celebrated former players in the country,” reads the statement.
EFA then quote Romans 8:18; “Consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
“EFA at this instance, in joining the rest, hereby express as her symbol of solidarity and wishes of the Lord’s comfort to all affected as a result of the passing-on of Mr. Sibusiso ‘Boy Boy’ Nyembe. May his soul “Rest in Peace,” concluded the statement.
