MBABANE – Close to 10 EmaSwati have been listed as finalists for the South African Rise to Greater Height Retreat and Awards taking place tomorrow in KwaZulu (KZN) Natal, Durban North.

Among the nominees is Acting Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli, who is nominated for Leader of the Year.

Other emaSwati who are nominated include Mzwakhe Tjovitjo Khumalo, who was nominated for MC of the Year. Other nominees include; Dudu Dube, Colani Hlatjwako, Hloniphile Matsebula, and Phiwa Mabuza, were nominated under the Leader of the Year category.

About six EmaSwati in total are finalists for the prestigious awards in different categories. The nomination list was announced last year in November, and nominations closed on Friday, December 29, 2023.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. tomorrow. The theme is Connect, Engage, Network, and Learn and Celebrate.

Other categories in the awards are Entrepreneur of the Year, Speaker of the Year, Coach of the Year, MC of the Year, Podcaster of the Year, Consultant of the Year, Musician of the Year, and Author of the Year.

About the awards
This year’s nominees have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and resilience. The individuals will be recognised for their work in the community, church, career, and business. The awards, together with Swati Canadian International Corp., will be celebrated with the nominations and finalists.
