E600K FOR 8BET TRADE FAIR CUP CHAMPIONS

MBABANE – The winner of the newly launched 8 Bet Trade Fair Cup will take home a lucrative E600 000, 100 per cent increase from last year’s package.

The runner’s up will smile all the way to the bank for E300 000. The third place team will get E100 000. The prize breakdown was revealed today (Friday, August 23, 2024) during the draw held at the 8 Bet offices in Mbabane.

In the individual awards, the player of the tournament will receive E8 000 with the top goal scorer and best goalkeeper getting E6 000 each. The best coach will be awarded with E7 000 with the best refereeing team receiving E6 000.

The print Media, Electronic TV, Digital Media and Electronic Radio will each be awarded with E3 500 each.

All the 16 teams participating teams will be handed E15 000 each as participation fee with E240 000 covering all the teams.

The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) will also spend E180 000 for the participating teams kits.

8 Bet sponsored the Trade Fair Cup to the tune of E2 million that was launched in the presence of the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) who are hosting the Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) that begins on August 30 to September 8 at the Mavuso Sports Centre.

The defending champions of the tournament are Green Mamba who beat Mbabane Swallows 6-0 in the finals.
