LUBOMBO REGION TO COME ALIVE WITH INSTACASH FA CUP TOURNAMENTS

MBABANE – The Instacash FA Cup is set to invigorate the Siphoso and Wizards sports grounds in the Lubombo Region this Saturday and Sunday (October 26 and 27, 2024).

Eight teams will vie for the championship across two zones on Saturday, the Eastern Zone, which will compete at Siphoso Sports Ground, and the Sigcaweni Zone, scheduled for Wizards Sports Ground.

In the Eastern Zone, Matsetsa Chiefs will clash with Baleni, while Hot Chillies will take on Dangerous Darkies in the semi-finals. The vwinners of these matches will face off in the finals, slated for 3pm.

Meanwhile, in the Sigcaweni Zone, Easy Choppers will meet Mdumezulu in the first semi-final, followed by TKZee going head-to-head with Classic in the second semi-final. The winners from these encounters will also compete for the championship at 3pm.

The tournament will continue on Sunday, with the Southern Zone hosting its matches at Matata Sports Ground. Mhlabaneni Junior Stars will face Sunproof in the first semi-final at 9am, followed by Mganyaneni United against Manyovu FC at 11am. The winners of these matches will then compete for the title at 3pm.

In all three zones, champions will receive a brand new soccer kit, E2 500 in cash, a trophy, and gold medals, with additional prizes for the runners-up. Instacash is hosting the tournament in collaboration with EswatiniBets and Orchard Insurance.

The teams participating in the tournament qualified by registering a significant number of individuals for the Instacash Funeral Cover, which costs E15 per month and provides a payout of E10 000 to the beneficiary.

The FA Cup has already taken place in other regions, including Hhohho, Shiselweni, and Manzini.
