The Inspector of English Language, Magagula, thanked Somnjalose English teachers for not seating and watching their pupils perish from lack of knowledge because the school doesn’t have books at the library. She praised them for knocking at the doors of the Embassy where their cries were heard hence the donation.

Mamba, the head teacher at Somnjalose High paid his heartfelt gratitude to the Taiwan Embassy and also thanked his English team of teachers for their efforts in improving the school’s English department. In his speech, he clarified that, “Only I, believe that Somnjalose will be transformed scale factor 12 beginning from next year. Learners are no longer going to fail English.”

Students were given the chance to thank the Embasssy as well where they were represented by two students, Siphephelo Tsabedze and Owethu Thwala. In their speeches, they mentioned how grateful they are for the kind gesture and promise to use this opportunity to better themselves through reading the books donated.

On another note, the principal pleaded to the rightful individuals and entities particularly businesses around Zulwini to remember the school in their social investment projects by assisting them in building an English lab.

Prior to the donation, the school’s library was devoid of books, with empty shelves a stark reminder of the lack of reading materials. The new books, donated by the Taiwan Embassy, will undoubtedly serve as a valuable resource for students and teachers alike.
