MBABANE – There would not be pre-sale tickets for the MTN Premier League games to be played this weekend.
This was announced by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE). There are seven matches to be played on Saturday and Sunday under week eight of the league. PLE requests that fans bring cash to ensure smooth and efficient process, minimizing queues and delays.
PLE had been selling pre-sale tickets for games.
“To all football fans, we regret to inform you that pre-sale tickets for this weekend matches will be not available. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your patience and understanding a we work to resolve this issue,” reads a statement from the PLE.
They also said they were committed in improving match day experience. The PLE said they were working on implementing a permanent ticketing solution that will function seamlessly.
Fans will pay E30 to watch a single header while it will costs E50 for a double header.
The biggest game of the weekend will see the forces derby between Young Buffaloes and Royal Leopard. The match would be played on Saturday (November 23) at Ka-Langa Technical Centre kick-off 3:30pm.
Illovo will host Mbabane Highlanders at Mayaluka Stadium while Green Mamba faces Manzini Sea Birds at Mkhuzweni Technical Centre. Both games would be played on Saturday and kick-off is at 3pm
There are four games to be played on Sunday (November 24, 2024) with a double header billed for Mavuso Sports Centre were Sisonkhe will play Sidvwashini at 1pm and next would be Moneni Pirates against Madlenya at 3:30pm
Log leaders Mbabane Swallows will visits Rangers at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, kick-off 2:30pm and then Ezulwini United will host Nsingizini Hotspurs at Mhlume Stadium. The game will start at 2:30pm.
