BANELE NDZABANDZABA THRIVING WITH BDF XI IN FNB BOTSWANA PREMIERSHIP

MBABANE – The country’s international player with Botswana Defence Force XI FC is thriving as he had started all their six games under the FNB Botswana Premiership.

Ndzabandzaba who joined the army side at the start of the season from another Botswana side Police XI has made six appearances from six matches for the teams in the league.  Botswana Defence Force XI is a team based in Mogoditshane and playing home games in Gaborone. It is the club of the Botswana Defence Force, composed mostly of military players.

Ndzabandzaba is among the five international players playing in elite leagues in four different Southern African countries. The others are Mxolisi Mkhontfo in Botswana who plays for Jwaneng Galaxy, Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze for Tabora United Football Club in Tanzania, Justice Figareido who plays for Richards Bay in Betway Premiership in South Africa and Lindo Mkhontfo who is in the colours of Zesco United in Zambia.

Ndzabandzaba’s club published the players profile highlighting his contribution he had made in the club. In the country he had played for clubs including Mbabane Highlanders, Mhlume Peacemakers and he also played for dysfunctional South Africa’s Mbombela United.

Ndzabandzaba who wears jersey 5 is yet to find the back of the net for his side. His team is ninth from the 16 team’s log. Their next match is against Chabide to be played on Sunday.
