MBABANE – The MTN Premier League week 10 will be headline by the match between rivals Mbabane Swallows and Nsingizini Hotspurs.
The two teams were the on representing the country in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) inter-club competitions and they are both competing for the first round carrot of E100 000 and the title, come May 2025.
Mbabane Swallows will go to the match with a game in hand while perched at the second spot after their game under week 8 against Royal Leopard was postponed by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) as they were given time to bring their house in order.
Swallows is second on the log with 19 points while Green Mamba seat top of the table with 22 points after their 2-0 win over Nsingizini Hotspurs on Saturday.
There was no winner between the two sides the last time they played at the match ended with a 1-all draw on February 18, 2024 during the MTN Premier League. In their four meeting in the past three seasons, Swallows had won matches, lost and drew one.
The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) is yet to release the fixtures with dates, venues and kick-off times.
Another entertaining match will be the forces derby which will see log leaders Green Mamba hosting Young Buffaloes.
On-form Moneni Pirates will host Sisonkhe while Mbabane Highlanders will face Sidvwashini United. Other fixtures will see Manzini Sea Birds visiting Illovo with Royal Leopard hosting Rangers.
