MBABANE – Green Mamba’s striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa is scoring better than English Premier League top scorers, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland in domestic leagues.
Ndzinisa had scored 12 goals in the MTN Premier League after nine matches while EPL leading top goal scorer Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah had scored 13 goals from 14 matches with Haaland at 12 goals after the 14 matches.
There is nothing that stopping Green Mamba’s forward Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa as he took a five goal lead in the MTN Premier League scores chart. From the 12 goals he had scored so far, he is followed by Royal Leopard Junior Magagula with seven goals and third is Young Buffaloes Phiwa ‘Slwabelwabe’ Dlamini with six goals. The top goal scorer’s chart was released by the Premier League of Eswatini after match nine of the MTN Premier League.
Ndzinisa scoring prowess has seen his side taking the lead in the log with 22 points after the nine games and they are closely followed by Mbabane Swallows with 18 points but with a game in hand against Royal Leopard. Mbabane Swallows will play the ending match against Royal Leopard on Wednesday (December 11, 2024) evening at Mavuso Sports Centre, kick-off 6pm.
Ndzinisa has scored in their last three MTN Premier League goals. He netted the opener in the 2-0 win over Nsingizini Hotspurs last Saturday and he was part of the scorers in the 2-1 win against Manzini Sea Birds and he was the scorer in the 1-0 win over Madlenya.
Meanwhile, Ndzinisa had won the MTN Premier League top goal scorer award for many times including during his time with Mbabane Swallows before joining Mbabane Highlanders and Green Mamba locally.
He is set to extend the lead when his side clash with Young Buffaloes in the forces derby on Saturday at Mkhuzweni Technical Centre at 4pm in a double header that will also feature Mbabane Highlanders against Sidvwashini united at 1:30pm.
