MBABANE – The Eswatini Football Coaches Association (EFCA) has invited local football fitness coaches to attend a fitness workshop and clinic.

The event will occur this Saturday, 21 December, at the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Technical Centre in Lobamba.

According to a statement released by EFCA Secretary Musa Mamba, the workshop aims to serve as a refresher course for the attendees. Premier League and First Division fitness coaches, in particular, are urged to attend without fail.

“The Eswatini Football Coaches Association invites all football fitness coaches to a fitness workshop/clinic scheduled for December 21, 2024, at the Lobamba Training Centre. Premier League and First Division fitness coaches are requested to attend without fail, as this will be considered a refresher. Your usual cooperation will be highly appreciated,” reads the statement.

This initiative is part of EFCA’s commitment to advancing the standards of fitness coaching in the country. With the demanding nature of modern football, fitness coaches play a pivotal role in ensuring players maintain peak physical condition, reducing injury risks and enhancing performance on the pitch.

Fitness coaches attending the workshop will engage in practical and theoretical sessions aimed at equipping them with updated techniques and methodologies to improve player performance. This will also serve as a platform for networking and sharing best practices among peers in the football coaching fraternity.

Coaches interested in attending the workshop are encouraged to confirm their participation by contacting the EFCA Secretariat. With the increasing importance of fitness in modern football, this event promises to be a valuable opportunity for professional development.
