Talented South African musician Aubrey Qwana prepares to light up Emfatini (The Wife) Lifestyle on December 24, 2024.
Known for his infectious hits and captivating stage presence, Qwana is set to deliver an unforgettable performance at the ‘Xmas Eve Vibes’ event, promising fun lovers a night filled with celebration.
The evening will feature a stellar line-up of supporting acts, including the dynamic Njebza, DJ Influencer, and DJ Mfundo, among others.
Aubrey Qwana hails from Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, where he was born and raised. His journey into the music industry began in 2019 when he burst onto the scene with a series of hit songs that quickly captured the hearts of fans across South Africa. Among his early successes was the infectious track ‘Ngaqonywa,’ featuring DJ Tira, which became a massive hit, spreading like wildfire and establishing him as a formidable force in the music industry.
Following the success of ‘Ngaqonywa,’ Qwana continued to build on his momentum with collaborations like ‘Uhamba Nobani,’ featuring the vibrant Sho Madjozi. His ability to blend catchy melodies with relatable lyrics resonated with audiences, earning him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. The recognition he received motivated him to release the impressive ‘Unplugged EP’ in April 2020.
Qwana continued to make waves in the industry, recently receiving two nominations at the South African Music Awards (SAMA) for Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year for his platinum-selling single ‘Molo.’ His multifaceted talent as a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, arranger, and designer has set him apart in a competitive landscape, and his latest single, ‘Nomalizo,’ is a testament to his growth as an artist.‘Nomalizo’ is particularly special as it marks the second single released under Qwana’s newly formed imprint, Inkanyamba Records.
With entry tickets priced at E50, attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as prices will rise to E80 after 10 pm.
