MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB FOR SIHLANGU IN CHAN QUALIFIERS AFTER 2-0 DEFEAT BY MADAGASCAR

SOUTH AFRICA – The National team, Sihlangu had to score three goals and not concede in the second leg match against Madagascar if its still to realise its dream of making it to the 2025 CHAN tournament.

This comes after the 2‐0 defeat in the first leg match by Madagascar played on Saturday at Lucas Moripe Stadium. The two sides will clash in the second leg match of the Qualifiers next Sunday in Madagascar with the overall winner making it to the finals next year.

Sihlangu conceded two goals in the first half of the match that were enough for Madagascar to put in one foot in progressing.

The first goal came in 22nd minute and a mistake by the defenders five minutes later resulted in the second goal.

Sihlangu reached the second round of the Qualifiers after beating Zimbabwe 4-1 aggregate.
