YOUNG ZESH TAKES ON 23:28 LOUNGE ON VALENTINE’S DAY

MBABANE – Spend Valentine’s Day with Young Zesh at 23:28. Lounge on Friday!

National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA) Outstanding Hip Hop Artist Young Zesh will be a special guest at 23:28 Lounge (Checkers Business Park) on Friday (14 February 2025).

The show dubbed One Night with Young Zesh is scheduled to kick off at 4pm and run till late; entrance is free, as confirmed by the establishment’s owner, Thembinkosi Mthethwa.

Young Zesh will be supported by 23:28 Lounge resident DJs on Friday.

 Young Zesh, born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza (24), from Somnjalose is the brains behind the record-breaking song titled KaKhoza.

When reached for comment, he shared with this publication that he is looking forward to performing for his fans on lover’s day. He said, “My fans can expect great music from my latest album and new music. Since it will be Valentine’s Day, most of the songs I will perform will be love songs. This is for a lover’s appreciation for all the time they have been together.”

According to Young Zesh, most of the songs he will perform will from his latest album titled Lwandiso.

It’s worth noting that Young Zesh will also make a debut performance at the Makoti Festival in April.

Last year he made history by being nominated six times at the NACA awards, which took place in December at Esibayeni Lodge. He was nominated for; Outstanding Hip Hop Artist, Outstanding Album Outstanding Song (KaKhoza), Outstanding Artist, Outstanding music video (KaKhoza) Outstanding Afro Pop/Soul Artist.

Young Zesh launched his second album titled Lwandiso at Mdzimba View Shisanyama Ezulwini, which is his hometown, on 2 November 2024. He dropped his first album, titled Ligcebesha, in July 2022.

He dropped his latest song, titled Ungangikhaleli, which translates to Don’t cry for me, in February this year. It was produced by Liz. Harris. Mixed and mastered by Sean Cast HQ. He dropped his first album, titled Ligcebesha, in July 2022.

In October last year, his music was announced to be now available on Eswatini MTN CallerTunez. Five of his songs are now available on MTN CallerTunez; these are titled KaKhoza, Liphasela, Bacolele, Ungangikhaleli, Wena and Sivumeleni.

He has performed at the MTN Bushfire Festival 2023, and this year he performed at the Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival in August.
