MBABANE – In a remarkable display of faith and unity, residents of Mbabane East gathered at Mntulwini in Msunduza for a powerful beginning-of-the-year prayer service. The event, coordinated by Member of Parliament Welcome Dlamini, brought together community members, law enforcement, and religious leaders to seek divine guidance, protection, and blessings for the year ahead.
The atmosphere was filled with hope as pastors delivered uplifting messages, urging residents to trust in God’s plan and remain steadfast in their pursuit of peace and progress. The congregation prayed fervently for an end to challenges affecting their community, including crime, unemployment, and social hardships.
LAW ENFORCEMENT PLEDGES SAFETY
In a move to assure residents of ongoing security efforts, Mbabane Station Commander Sabelo Dlamini addressed the gathering, highlighting measures taken by the police to combat crime in Msunduza. He acknowledged the concerns over rising gasterism-related violence, particularly following the tragic death of socialite Jomo Nkambule, and emphasized that law enforcement remains committed to ensuring safety for all.
“We are working tirelessly to restore peace and order in Msunduza. With the community’s cooperation, we believe we can eliminate crime and create a safe environment for families to thrive,” said Dlamini.
