COACH SIMON NGOMANE PRAISES NSINGIZINI HOTSPURS DESPITE LOSS TO MBABANE HIGHLANDERS

MBABANE- Nsingizini Hotspurs Head Coach Simon Ngomane commended his players for their relentless effort on the field following their recent 2-1 defeat to Mbabane Highlanders. Ngomane was clear that he does not blame his squad for the loss, emphasizing that the opposition outperformed them through sheer hard work and determination.

“ Mbabane Highlanders were willing to work harder on the day, and that made the difference,” Ngomane remarked. He expressed gratitude for facing such a team that fully tested Nsingizini Hotspurs, stating this challenge will ultimately strengthen the team both in performance and results.

While the result was disappointing from a points perspective, Ngomane highlighted the mental growth his team achieved. “From a process point of view, we have learned and grown mentally,” he said, stating  the importance of development beyond just outcomes his boys displayed tremendous mental growth and will continue to grow.

Ngomane also praised the high quality of football displayed by both teams, noting that despite the loss against Mbabane Highlanders, football itself was the true winner of the day.  “The level of football in this match was exceptional, and that’s what the fans want to see,” he added.

Looking ahead, the coach remains optimistic about Nsingizini Hotspurs’ title ambitions. With two games remaining and only a single point separating them from league leaders Royal Leopards, Ngomane stressed that the league race is still wide open. “We are not demotivated; this is an opportunity to fight until the very end,” he concluded.

Nsingizini Hotspurs will now focus on their remaining fixtures with renewed determination, aiming to close the gap and secure the Mtn Premier league title in what promises to be a thrilling finish to the season.
