MBABANE – Today will go down as a memorable day for Ndoniyamanzi Luhlanga, as she has received E75 000 from Government as a token of appreciation for what she did at Prague, in the Czech Republic.

On top of that, Luhlanga received E5 000 from Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini, which means she got E80 000. This happened today (Thursday, July 4, 2024) at Private and Cabinet Offices at Hospital Hill, Mbabane. This happened in the presence of Luhlanga’s parents and other relatives. Her teacher and mentor Velile Dube was also present.

The prime minister, who hugged Luhlanga upon his arrival for the press conference, congratulated her for having performed well during the recent Ballet World Cup, which took place at Czech Republic’s capital city, Prague. The premier said Luhlanga did not only do this for herself, but she did this for the whole country.

He also recognised parents and other guardians for ensuring that Luhlanga was well nurtured and pleaded with them to do so. The premier viewed Luhlanga’s achievement as an inspiration to other young people in the country to excel in their sporting codes.

The premier told Luhlanga that she would now be the country’s ambassador, following that she represented it very well during the competition. The premier also hailed those who ensured that her trip to the Czech Republic was a success, such as the Eswatini National Sports and Recreation Council (ENSRC).
