MBABANE – The Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP), under the Ministry of ICT and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has officially opened applications for the highly anticipated 2025 National STEM Expo.
The STEM Expo is one of the major highlights of Eswatini’s National Science Week. It offers a vibrant platform for young minds to showcase their talents in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The Expo aims to inspire innovation, critical thinking, and creativity among Eswatini’s youth while providing practical exposure and national recognition.
Applications are open to primary and high school learners, tertiary students, and STEM-focused start-ups across the country. Organisers are calling on all aspiring inventors, tech enthusiasts, and problem-solvers to step forward with their projects, whether it be a technology prototype, sustainable farming innovation, or environmental solution.
Participants will have the chance to:
Exhibit their projects to a national audience
Take part in interactive workshops and learning sessions
Receive mentorship and networking opportunities with STEM professionals

Last year’s Expo drew hundreds of entries from across Eswatini, highlighting groundbreaking ideas and homegrown talent. This year’s edition is expected to be even more impactful, with stronger partnerships and new learning experiences for both learners and educators.
