EZULWINI – Michael Hollick has emerged as the champion of the FNB Eswatini Challenge golf tournament, held at the renowned Ezulwini Golf Club from August 5th to 9th, 2025.
After a competitive five-day event that attracted some of the finest golfers in the region, Hollick’s consistent performance and skill on the greens earned him the top spot. His victory was celebrated with the awarding of a distinctive FNB branded blazer, symbolizing his status as the tournament champion, along with a gleaming trophy.
Hollick, who entered the final round as the leader, delivered a composed performance, carding a final round of 68 to finish at an impressive 16 under par. His consistent play throughout the tournament earned him the coveted champion’s FNB branded blazer and trophy, highlighting his continued dominance on the tour.
Hollick’s strong form followed his recent success in the previous Sunshine Tour season, where he won the Courier Guy DNi Tour Championship, underscoring his status as one of the tour’s top competitors.
During the final round, Hollick started with back-to-back birdies on the opening two holes, followed by two more birdies on the front nine. An eagle on the back nine kept his title bid on course despite a double bogey on the challenging 14th hole.
The FNB Eswatini Challenge remains one of the premier golf events in the country, showcasing talent and fostering competitive spirit among golfers. This year’s tournament, hosted at the scenic Ezulwini Golf Club, delivered amazing moments and high-quality golf, with Hollick’s win standing out as a highlight.
