MANZINI – The 8th edition of the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards illuminated the night with glamour, talent and unforgettable performances, as the kingdom’s brightest stars gathered to celebrate excellence, culture and the rising influence of Eswatini’s entertainment industry.
Held on 29 November 2025 at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini, the event transformed the venue into a dazzling showcase of bold décor, vibrant lighting and a red-carpet ambience. Hundreds of guests arrived dressed in glamorous gowns, sharp tailored suits and fashion-forward ensembles, creating an atmosphere buzzing with excitement, laughter and music. The night skilfully blended elegance with the warmth of Eswatini’s cultural identity.
Charismatic MCs Thick Bee and Mnqobi Tsabedze kept the programme flowing effortlessly. Their humour, vibrant energy and seamless transitions ensured every moment—from award presentations to performances—remained dynamic and engaging.
One of the evening’s biggest triumphs belonged to Lucia Kate, who walked away with three major honours: Gospel Artist of the Year, Best Music Newcomer of the Year and Best Couple of the Year. Her emotional acceptance speech, filled with gratitude and a message of perseverance, drew warm applause and connected deeply with the audience.
Young Zesh earned the coveted Entertainer of the Year title, celebrated for his electrifying stage presence and rising influence. Meanwhile, Sewakhile Comedy was crowned Social Media Personality of the Year, a testament to his creative impact and cultural relevance across digital platforms.
The entertainment lineup was equally impressive, with standout performances from True Classic, Young Zesh, Hapkoo, and a lively Marimba Band. Each act brought its own flavour, showcasing the depth and diversity of Eswatini’s artistic landscape.
A defining highlight of the night came when Jumbo Khumalo, Founder of the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards, stepped onto the stage. Dressed in a sleek black modern suit paired with a traditional umncele, Khumalo embodied the awards’ spirit: a celebration of modern talent rooted firmly in cultural heritage. His symbolic attire captured the essence of the evening—where tradition meets contemporary excellence.
In his address, Khumalo expressed heartfelt appreciation to sponsors, artists and attendees, reaffirming the awards’ mission to uplift and empower creatives throughout the kingdom. He closed with the event’s signature rallying call, “See You at the Top,” prompting enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
As the curtains fell on this spectacular celebration, attendees left inspired and united by pride in Eswatini’s growing creative power.
