MATSAPHA- One of Eswatini’s rising music stars, Thatohatsi, is set to take centre stage at the highly anticipated Mr & Miss UNESWA 2026, promising an unforgettable night of glamour, fashion and entertainment.
The prestigious event, presented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (SOOSHY), will take place on Friday, 5 June 2026, at the Sports Emporium, with festivities kicking off from 1800hrs. Students, supporters and entertainment enthusiasts are expected to gather in large numbers for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest campus events of the year.
Known for captivating audiences with energetic performances and a growing catalogue of fan-favourite hits, Thatohatsi is expected to be one of the major attractions of the evening. Her appearance adds star power to an already exciting programme that celebrates student excellence, beauty, confidence and talent.
The event will see contestants competing for the coveted Mr and Miss UNESWA 2026 crowns while showcasing their charisma, intelligence and stage presence before a live audience. Beyond the pageantry, attendees can expect a full entertainment experience featuring performances from some of the country’s finest talents.
Joining Thatohatsi on the lineup are Obsession, Lady Zee, AyaCity, Bandora, Sbu De Drum DJ, Corrosive, Shauzy, Maradona, DJ Easy, Bongswa, Emster, Coolboy and Dlala Captain, while popular MC Sintour will keep the energy flowing throughout the night.
According to the event organisers, student tickets are selling for E50, while non-students will pay E150 to be part of the spectacle.
The annual pageant continues to grow in popularity, serving as a platform that brings together youth culture, fashion, music and entertainment under one roof. With a star-studded lineup, fierce competition and an atmosphere expected to be electric, anticipation is already reaching fever pitch.
