MBABANE– From First Princess to International Modelling Aspirations!
In a world where beauty and talent converge, Nowethu Motsa, a 21-year-old Business Management student at Limkokwing University, stands out as a remarkable example of determination and passion.
Recently crowned First Princess at the Miss Eswatini modelling competition, her journey is just beginning, and she is eager to make her mark both locally and internationally.
We caught up with the gorgeous Princess and she told more about her dreams and aspirations.
She shared,“I’ve always known that modelling was my calling,” She reflects, recalling her early days of participating in contests. Her journey began after high school with the Miss Cultural Heritage title for the Manzini region. “Winning that title was just the start. I’ve always set my sights on Miss Eswatini, and now that I’ve completed my role as First Runner Up, I’m ready to take my modelling career to the international stage.”
Motsa describes her experience at the Miss Eswatini competition as both exhilarating and challenging. “The competition was tough, with many beautiful and talented contestants. But standing out among them and being chosen as First Princess was an incredible honour. It reaffirmed my passion for modelling and showed me that my hard work is paying off.”
Despite not having taken on any projects since the competition, Motsa is optimistic about the future. “I’m looking forward to exciting opportunities in collaborations, runway shows, and photo-shoots. My goal is to build my portfolio and expand my presence in the fashion world.”
Beyond modelling, she has a mission that extends beyond herself. “I want to use my platform to help others. Whether it’s inspiring young aspiring models, supporting community initiatives, or empowering others through my journey, I believe that modelling is not just about beauty and fashion—it’s about making an impact.”
In addition to her modelling aspirations, she is passionate about beauty and style. “I love working with makeup and exploring innovative looks. Fashion excites me, and I believe in choosing pieces that resonate with my personal sense of style.”
Entrepreneurship also plays a significant role in her vision. “I’m driven by the idea of creating opportunities and building ventures that blend my love for beauty and fashion with business acumen. Modelling remains my strongest talent, but I continuously strive to refine my skills in all areas.”
Motsa has sage advice for young girls aspiring to enter the modelling world. “Build your confidence through public speaking and self-expression. Embrace your unique qualities and stay true to your vision. Focus on personal development and let your passion shine through.”
As she embarks on this exciting journey Motsa is ready to embrace new opportunities and develop her brand on a larger scale. With her determination, passion, and commitment to making a positive impact, it’s clear that this young woman is poised for success in the modelling industry.
