MATSAPHA – The wait is finally over!
Tomorrow night, Eswatini’s brightest talents will shine as they receive well-deserved recognition, voted for by the public.
The Eswatini National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA) ceremony will take place tomorrow, 14 December 2024, at Esibayeni Lodge. The prestigious event is set to begin at 7 PM, with grand arrivals starting at 5 PM.
The ceremony will be hosted by the multi-talented MC and Hip Hop artist KrTC, born Thamsanqa Sibandze.
Speaking this morning on Kuletishisako (Eswatini Broadcasting Information Services, EBIS 1), Eswatini National Arts and Culture Council CEO Stanley Dlamini confirmed that all preparations for the much-anticipated event are complete.
Dlamini revealed that, as of the close of business yesterday, votes had reached an impressive 100,000. He attributed this success to the regional awards hosted earlier across Eswatini’s four regions. Dlamini further announced that VIP tickets are already sold out, though people can still check the NACA Awards website for any remaining tickets.
The eighth edition of the NACA Awards will celebrate Eswatini’s rich cultural diversity and creative excellence, which continue to capture the hearts and minds of the nation. From traditional music and dance to contemporary art and fashion, the NACAs honor the best of Eswatini’s creative talent across a wide range of categories.
Tomorrow promises to be an unforgettable night of music, dance, and art. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Sibhaca dance or modern Hip Hop, the NACAs have something for everyone. The growing buzz around the event reflects the excitement among artists and cultural figures across Eswatini, all eagerly awaiting the ceremony.
The NACAs provide an opportunity to celebrate the past, present, and future of Eswatini’s artistic traditions. It’s a night for us to come together and recognize the incredible talent and creativity that thrive in our country.
Organizers have worked hard to ensure this year’s event is bigger and better than ever before. A star-studded line-up of performers and presenters is ready to take the stage, promising an evening of pure entertainment and celebration.
NACA Chairman Sipho “Big Fish” Makhabane urged nominees, their families, and fans to show their support. “This is an opportunity for the people of Eswatini to come together and show their pride in our cultural heritage,” he said.
All eyes are on Esibayeni Lodge tomorrow, as the nation celebrates the artists and cultural icons who continue to inspire and shape Eswatini’s creative landscape.
