MBABANE – The Athletics Eswatini (AE) has announced the athletes from the Hhohho Region who qualified for the Regional Cross Country set for Saturday.
The athletes are those who won from the three zones under the Hhohho Region being Ntfonjeni, Motshane and Nyakatfo.
The winners from the Regional Competition will then represent the region at National level set for November 24.
This initiative is under the Tinkhundla National Talent Search that was launched by the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs and sponsored to the tune of E2 million.
“We are thrilled to share the results of the athletes who have qualified for the upcoming Regional Cross-Country Competition taking place in the Hhohho region from all three zones: Nyakatfo, Ntfonjeni, and Motjane.
We wish them the best as they prepare for Saturday,” reads a statement from AE.
“Come out to support these incredible athletes as they race for a place in the Nationals. Tinkhundla Talent Search. Together for gold. Nkwe,” concluded the statement.
