Slated to drop on May 23, 2025, this exciting collaboration promises to bring a fresh, dynamic sound to Eswatini’s vibrant music scene. Titled after the Siswati word “uShatini”, which translates to the hustle and energy of township life, USHATINI blends township-inspired rhythms with experimental house music elements. The track aims to capture the heartbeat of the community, drawing from the daily hustle and vibrant energy of everyday life in Eswatini.
“This project was born from a desire to sonically articulate the township experience,” the duo explained in a statement. “We deliberately fused raw, percussive rhythms with exploratory synths to create a sound that feels both grounded and forward-thinking.”
