MBABANE – Boxing is among the sporting codes to be enjoyed on November 23, 2024, during the Mbabane Fun Day.
The day will be headlined by the Mbabane Half Marathon (21km run) that will also feature a 10km and 5km runs sponsored to the tune of E250 000 by MTN Fintech. The event is hosted by the Municipal Council of Mbabane.
The boxing tournament will be held by the Stepping Razor Boxing Academy in collaboration with the Municipal Council of Mbabane. The boxing tournament is named, Mbabane Day Stepping Razor Boxing Academy tournament.
Weight in will start 9:30am while the tournament will start at noon until 4pm. The venue for the tournament is the Mbabane Coronation Park while the start and finish of the runs is the Prince of Wales Sports Ground.
Other sporting codes that will be in action on the day include golf, netball, basketball and aerobics among others. Kids will also have a field day in in terms of entertainment as there would a massive kiddie’s corner featuring car rides, face painting, water slides, food court and stalls among other things.
Meanwhile, registration for the runs is still open. Runners pay E180 for the 21km, E130 for the 10km and E60 for the 5km.
