MBABANE – 20 successful applicants have been chosen to be part of the CCG Systems internship program.
CCG Systems in partnership with Royal Science & Technology Park (RSTP) has initiated a training program for 20 interns on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Nokwane. Who will be trained in ERP Systems, software programming and engineering amongst other things which also include Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things.
The CCG Systems Business Development Manager, Thabo Mwandza shared that part of the program includes, interns receiving brand new Laptops, an allowance of E3500 a month and also traveling for training and capacity building exercises in various countries in Africa. Investment per candidate will be E150 000 each.
He also mentioned that the CCG internship program will be an annual project that will grow in leaps and bounds with each milestone reached, with each intern impacted and with each African child empowered to discover and unleash their potential.
“The internship program is aimed at building local capacity for emaSwati. Rather than the African child being a consumer of Technology, as CCG we want Africans to be producers of technology, which then sums up CCG’s Vision in Building Africa’s Digital Future.” Mwandza said.
CCG Director, Itumeleng Mphatsoe mentioned that the Current Gold in Africa will not be mined in the ground and dust, but in the Beautiful and capable Minds of EmaSwati. “As CCG progresses through the wave of the Knowledge economy, we see a bright future for Africa in as far as innovation and technology is concerned,” Mphatsoe said.
Zanele Tfumbatsi, who is among the interns shared that the internship program was going to help her gain more experience and will later empower her community as well.
