MBABANE – Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Managing Directors (MDs) and other company directors have been awarded for having played a vital role in developing human capital in this country.
The managers have been awarded by Institute of People Management during the gala dinner that was held at Sibane Sami Hotel in Ezulwini. IPM is the umbrella body for all human capital managers in the Kingdom of Eswatini. This body, organises workshops, seminars, trainings and meetings in order to capacitate Human Resource Managers in the country. This body has members from public and private sector in the country.
The gala dinner, marked the end to the two day convention that was organized by IPM and it featured many speakers who touched on different aspects of human resource management.
The winners of this year’s IPM awards are:
Business Leader of the year: Mr Muzi Siyaya (Managing Director: Ubombo Sugar Limited)
Innovative Business Leader of the year: Mr Brightwell Nkambule (Commissioner General: Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS))
Diversity Equity Inclusion Leadership Excellence of the year: Ms Futhi Tembe (CEO: Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF))
HR Career Ambassador of the year: Ms Nomfundo Sibanyoni (Human Capital Manager: Swaziland Building Society (SBS))
Lifetime Achievement Award in HR: Ms Zanele Zulu (Human Resources Manager: Komati Basin Water Authority (KOBWA))
HR Team of the year: Usuthu Forest Product Services.
