CRICKET U-19 TO FACE NIGERIA IN ICC U-19 WOMEN’S T20 IN RWANDA

MBABANE – The country’s Cricket Under-19 Women National team will face Nigeria in their opening match of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier 2024, slated for August 19 to September 3, 2024 in Kigali, Rwanda.

The match will be played on August 21 at the Gahanga Stadium. The local squad is in Group A, including Rwanda, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Mozambique, and Kenya.

The Eswatini Cricket Association (ECA) confirmed the fixtures and said they were looking forward to a successful event.
“Let’s cheer on our talented young athletes as they aim for victory on the global stage,” said ECA.

The association also announced that the Eswatini Men’s team are gearing up for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub Regional Qualifiers from November 21-29, 2024 in Lagos, Nigeria.

“It’s time to showcase our skills and passion for the sport. This incredible journey proves that the ECA has firmly established its presence on the continent. Let’s continue to support our teams and show the world what Eswatini cricket is all about,” reads part of the statement.
