MBABANE – Enter DD Cool!
Legendary Eswatini DJ and event manager, DD Cool, is set to take music lovers on a nostalgic journey with the Way Back Hits mini tour, scheduled for two consecutive Saturdays this March.
The highly anticipated events will take place on March 22 at the Eswatini Theatre Club in Mbabane and on March 29 at the newly opened Gateway Shisanyama, located inside the recently built Langa Gateway Complex at Lonhlupheko, near the Siteki-Simunye-Mpaka circle. The venue, a posh new entertainment spot, was officially opened last week by His Majesty King Mswati III and will be hosting its first-ever event since opening its doors this year.
Both events will run from 2 PM to midnight, offering an unforgettable experience for fans of old-school music. Designed for a mature audience, the show promises a carefully curated selection of classic hits, with free entry exclusively for attendees aged 30 and above. The music line-up will be complemented by an inviting ambiance, featuring great food, a fully stocked bar, and an overall relaxed atmosphere.
Adding to the excitement, the opening event this Saturday at the Eswatini Theatre Club will feature a surprise live performance, keeping attendees in suspense about which artist will grace the stage. Meanwhile, veteran Swati DJ Bean is set to deliver a stellar old-school DJ set, further elevating the experience.

Speaking ahead of the event, DD Cool expressed his excitement about hosting his first-ever show at the newly launched hangout spot. He invited music lovers to attend in large numbers, promising an exciting lineup of music and other engaging activities. “I have prepared a special selection of classic hits to make the night unforgettable. We’re bringing a top-tier experience, and I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy,” he said.
The owner of the new establishment, Chief Jozane Maziya, also shared his enthusiasm, stating that he was happy to see the place finally coming to life. He urged people from the area to embrace the venue, describing it as a source of pride for the region. “This place is for the people—it will change lives and transform the face of Siteki. We want the community to take ownership and make it their go-to spot for entertainment,” he said.
With the newly built Langa Gateway Complex expected to attract fun lovers from across the Lubombo region, the Way Back Hits mini tour is anticipated to draw a significant crowd, making it a must-attend event for those who appreciate timeless classics.
Music lovers are encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for two unforgettable Saturdays filled with nostalgia, entertainment, and a touch of musical elegance.
