MANZINI– The city of Manzini is set to come alive with soulful melodies and smooth grooves as South African music sensation DJ Young headlines the highly anticipated “Soul & RnB Picnic” on December 29, 2025.
The event will unfold at the picturesque Manzini Club Lawns, running from 10 a.m. until late, offering a full day of rhythm, relaxation, and good vibes. Themed “White Tops and Blue Jeans,” the picnic encourages guests to embrace a chic yet laid-back style, perfectly complementing the soulful atmosphere of the celebration.
DJ Young – born Moloko Alfred Lodwick Manganyi – is a renowned DJ, music producer, and performer who has carved out a distinctive space in the South African music scene. Since his rise in the mid-2000s, he has become known for his energetic live sets and masterful production, blending classic house elements with modern flair.
Hailing from Norwood, Johannesburg, DJ Young’s passion for music was ignited by the golden era of house, inspired by industry legends such as DJ Fresh, Oskido, Glen Lewis, Frankie Knuckles, Iggy Smalls, and Kaskade. These influences shaped his unique sound and fueled his journey toward becoming one of Southern Africa’s most exciting acts.
