The national finals will be played on August 31 at Somhlolo National Stadium whereby the four regional winners will compete for the lucrative prizes with all the 59 Tinkhundla Centres around the country competing.

The winners at the regional level will pocket E20 000 each from the four regions being Hhohho, Manzini, Lubombo and Shiselweni, with the national winner taking home E50 000 which equals to the E70 000.

This was revealed by the tournament Chairman Sifiso Shabalala on Friday during the draw held at Sibane Sami Hotel. He also released the rules and regulations of the tournament.

Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima launched a first-of-its-kind Tinkhundla National Talent Search Competition, with a total sponsorship package of E2 million wholly funded by Government.

The Competition aims to unearth youth sport and arts talent across Eswatini and provide platforms for the country’s youth to develop their sport and arts talents. The competitions include sports (Athletics and football) and arts and culture.

Each Inkhundla is eligible to register 25 members of the teams including officials and only three players over the age of 23-years. Each player is eligible to play for only one Inkhundla in the tournament and the players will be using the Identity Cards (ID) to register for the tournament.
