MBABANE – The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) has unveiled an exciting new chapter in its journey with the launch of a new logo and corporate identity (CI).
This rebranding reflects the unique character of the event and its cultural significance in Eswatini.
New Logo Inspiration
Siphesihle Nkhabindze, the Official Spokesperson for EITF, shared insights during an online launch event, emphasising the need for a logo that resonates with the essence of Eswatini. Key highlights from his comments include:
– The previous logo was familiar but lacked uniqueness and a compelling story.
– The new design symbolises tradition, unity, and welcome, inspired by the guca sithandaze shaped entrance.
– Colours chosen for the logo represent important values:
– Blue for peace and stability
– White for unity
– Red for history and resilience
The acronym EITF prominently features in the logo, anchoring the identity globally while reflecting local heritage. Additionally, two figures with raised hands symbolize the energy and spirit of the performers and exhibitors at the fair.
Exhibitor Applications Open
In conjunction with the logo launch, exhibitor applications have officially opened as of 3 PM on 23 April 2025. Here are the key points regarding the application process:
– All applications will be processed through the EITF App, available on the Google Play Store.
– For a comprehensive guide on how to apply, interested exhibitors can visit EITF’s social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
– For assistance, exhibitors can reach out via WhatsApp at 7950 0050.
– Current app users are encouraged to update their software to ensure proper processing of applications.
