MBABANE – Elegance, poise, and culture converged at the glamorous Miss Pigg’s Peak 2025/26 dinner, held on 24 July 2025 at iF’s Lounge in Mbabane.
Now in its ninth year, the event offered a sparkling prelude to the highly anticipated crowning of Miss Pigg’s Peak, which will take place at the Pigg’s Peak Hotel on 26 July 2025.
The evening was a feast of fashion, as guests turned out in exquisite outfits that blended contemporary flair with traditional Swati elegance. The twelve dazzling contestants took centre stage, each radiating confidence and individuality, embodying the essence of modern womanhood in Eswatini.
Leading the programme with grace and charm was MC Thando Ntshangase, who kept the audience engaged throughout the night. Comedy favourite Mdura brought laughter and warmth to the gathering, creating a lively and joyous atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening included a soul-stirring performance by local poet and artist Sakhile Dlamini, who performed his celebrated song Umcwasho, weaving the pride of Swati heritage into the celebration.
Inspiring words came from renowned speaker Thembeka Gamedze, who encouraged the contestants to embrace their uniqueness and walk boldly in their purpose. Organiser Mathokoza Dlamini extended sincere thanks to the sponsors, acknowledging their vital role in supporting youth development and women’s empowerment. Director Kwazile Masimula reflected on the dedication behind the scenes, sharing the triumphs and challenges of organising such a landmark event.
