MBABANE – A wave of optimism and opportunity swept through the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade as the Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment by sponsoring E100 000 towards the Eswatini Youth in Action (EYA) initiative.

The generous contribution was warmly received by the Small Enterprises Development Company (SEDCO), which continues to play a leading role in nurturing young entrepreneurs across the country. During the official handover ceremony, SEDCO Chief Executive Officer Khethiwe Mhlanga expressed deep appreciation for the sponsorship, describing it as a powerful investment in Eswatini’s future.

“We are incredibly thankful to ENPF,” said Mhlanga. “This funding goes directly to support our young entrepreneurs. While in the past we focused on international-level awards, this year we are also recognizing excellence at the regional level. It’s a great motivation for our youth to improve and excel at all stages.”

The funds will be used to expand entrepreneurship programs that provide mentorship, business incubation, and startup capital to promising young minds. SEDCO continues to champion entrepreneurship as a viable and empowering career path, offering vital tools and opportunities for Eswatini’s youth to innovate and succeed.

With partnerships like this, the spirit of entrepreneurship in Eswatini is not just alive—it’s thriving.
