NHLANGANO – The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) is expanding its successful Bafundzise Campaign to Nhlangano, with outreach activities set to begin on Monday, August 11,2025.

This follows positive responses from businesses in Manzini, Matsapha, Mbabane, and Ezulwini over the past few months.

The Bafundzise Campaign is a public education and outreach initiative by the ERS. It aims to provide local entrepreneurs in Nhlangano with essential support and guidance on tax and customs matters, focusing on educating and empowering taxpayers especially small and medium-sized businesses.

The campaign was officially launched following a meeting between ERS Director of Client Services Riccardo Kruger and Nhlangano Town Council CEO Babsy Mavuso, alongside Town Clerk Enock Silenge. Representing the Commissioner General, Kruger emphasised the campaign’s goal: to educate, support, and empower businesses in understanding their tax and customs obligations.

“Bafundzise is more than just an outreach it is  a chance for businesses to receive direct guidance, ask questions, and strengthen their compliance,” said Kruger, as he highlighted the positive outcomes from previous engagements in other regions.

The ERS believes that strong collaboration with the Nhlangano Town Council will ensure the success of the campaign in the region. Local businesses are encouraged to participate fully and benefit from the free, practical support being offered.

As the campaign continues to expand, the ERS remains committed to building a culture of voluntary compliance while empowering Eswatini’s small business sector.
