LOMAHASHA – Esicongweni Pourty Farm, a new business at Buloyini along the Lomahasha to Mozambique boardgate road MR3 (Namarcha) is making a difference in the community by donating sanitary pads to locals schools.
Having been founded by Nhlanhla Johnson Sibambo, the farm is already known for its generosity and commitment to helping others.
The farm’s manager, Vukile Dlamini, revealed that Esicongweni has donated sanitary pads to several schools. So far, they have given 374 pads to Lomahasha Central High School, 213 to Mbookontjweni High, and 170 to Nkhalashane High. This initiative aims to support young girls and ensure they do not miss school due to a lack of essential supplies.
Esicongweni has even bigger plans for the future. “We want to donate sanitary pads every month and expand beyond Lomahasha,” said Dlamini. They are also in touch with Shewula High School to determine how many girls need assistance.
The farm is also focusing on helping boys in the community. They plan to organize a sports tournament where all local schools can participate. This initiative will encourage teamwork, fitness, and school engagement.
Beyond education, Esicongweni is involved in community development. They are assisting in the construction of Free Evangelical Assemblies (FEA) to support spiritual growth. “Giving back is important. Even the Bible says, ‘Give and you shall receive,’ Dlamini added.
Esicongweni Pourty Farm believes in supporting local people because they also support the farm. Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others is inspiring. As they continue their work, the community can expect even more positive changes from this growing business.
