MBABANE – The venue and date has been confirmed!
The third edition of the Eswatini Farmers Market will be held at the Malkerns Country Club on October 26, 2024. The venue announcement was made today (6 August, 2024) by Festival Director Culolami Dlamini.
This year will also see a kids section that is very innovative for the festival according to Dlamini. The games include Zip line, VR games, four types of jumping castles and many more.
Dlamini shared with this publication that the theme this year is ‘Africa Unite,’ which means they are bringing the whole continent to the Kingdom.
According to Dlamini, they have partnered with Flying Fish for this year’s edition.
Last year the food, fashion, and lifestyle second edition was a resounding success and saw huge numbers attend the festival. It was held at the Sibebe Resort on September 9, 2023. The first edition was held at Malkerns Country Club.
Last year’s edition was head lined by South African DJ music producer and song writer Sun-EL Musician, born Sanele Tresure Sithole.
Other artists on the line- up were; SA’s Da Capo, Simmy, DJ Kenza, Atmos Blaq Thakzin, Karyendasoul, Nana Atta, Culolam, Trend Twins, Ayacity Sbu De Drum DJ, and many more.
Last year’s festival also has comedy section, which was head lined by South African comedian Trevor Gumbi and Siya Shezi.
Tickets price for kids below 12 years old is E100, Early Bird tickets costs E300.
