ESWATINI TV BROADCAST STUDIO RELOCATES TO EBIS

MBABANE – Eswatini Television Authority (ESTVA) is set to temporarily move its broadcast studio to the Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services (EBIS) building on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

The temporary relocation is expected to last between six to eight months. This was confirmed by ESTVA’s Senior Marketing Communication and Brand Officer (SMCBO), Nomcebo Malinga.

She stated, “Eswatini TV (ESTVA) is pleased to announce the temporary relocation of its studios to the EBIS facilities starting February 8, 2025. This transition is part of our strategic initiative to refurbish and expand our existing studio. We believe this move will provide an opportunity to enhance our equipment and integrate advanced technologies, ultimately allowing us to offer an improved viewing experience for our valued audience.”

According to Malinga, the upcoming renovations will significantly enhance the station’s production capabilities. She elaborated, “This forward-thinking initiative positions Eswatini’s flagship broadcaster to take the lead in the regional broadcasting landscape. As Eswatini TV undergoes this transition, it will become better equipped to meet the needs of its viewers. Audiences can look forward to a greatly improved viewing experience soon.”

Malinga further reassured clients, audiences, and stakeholders that despite the temporary relocation, Eswatini TV will maintain its regular programming schedule without interruption. “All shows will continue to air as usual from the new EBIS location,” she affirmed.

She concluded by expressing appreciation for the public’s support and understanding during this transition: “We appreciate your patience and support during this period of change.”
