MBABANE – Eswatini has achieved another significant milestone on the international stage as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Senator Pholile Shakantu, has been elected as the President of the Bureau of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS).

This historic appointment highlights Eswatini’s growing diplomatic influence and commitment to global cooperation.

Minister Shakantu will assume her new role as President during the upcoming OACPS Council of Ministers meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on February 20, 2025.
